“Good conversations in a relaxed atmosphere": Digital marketing student Pia Hermann enjoys the Meet & Match and makes valuable contacts.
The Meet & Match career and job fair at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol set a new record with almost 900 visitors. Interested parties were able to find out about career prospects at the stands of 42 companies.
The Meet & Match at the FH Kufstein Tirol, which took place on March 14, 2025, once again confirmed its status as a career springboard for students and graduates. With 863 visitors, interest in the cross-industry fair was greater than ever before. Not only were students from 28 degree programs at the University of Applied Sciences bustling about in the “Festsaal” (Festivities Hall) and foyer, where the fair was held, but 63 students from local schools also took advantage of the information on offer.

Student influencer Teresa Meißl reported on the Meet & Match 2025.
At the stands of the 42 exhibiting companies, participants were able to make valuable contacts with potential employers, find out about career opportunities and gain insights into various professional fields.
REPUTABLE COMPANIES AND ATTRACTIVE OFFERS
In addition to numerous well-known companies from the region, long-standing partner companies were once again represented. Apart from the main sponsor SPAR, these were dm, the Sparkasse Kufstein and the Fotoschmiede Tirol. The styling lounge run by dm once again proved to be an absolute attraction at Meet & Match.
In addition, prospective customers were able to have up-to-date portrait pictures taken of themselves at the application photo shoot, which was offered by Fotoschmiede Tirol and personally conducted by Thorben Jureczko.

The dm styling lounge proved to be an absolute magnet for visitors.
The organizational team, supported by students from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, made sure that no one had to go into a discussion hungry or thirsty, providing snacks and drinks.
ENTHUSIASM AMONG PARTICIPANTS AND EXHIBITORS
Both visitors and exhibitors were enthusiastic about the procedures at the event and the content of the discussions. Digital marketing student Pia Hermann, for example, highlighted the good discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. “I liked the companies I visited very much,” she emphasized.
She is not alone in this opinion: Paula Mittermüller, Annalena Ennemoser and Franziska Obwexer – three students from the International Business Studies degree program – attended the fair together. Even though the three of them are only in their second semester, they are already thinking about their professional future. “It's really interesting to meet so many companies and see what prospects they offer,” says Paula. Annalena speaks of a “great opportunity”. “Many possibilities – that you might not even think of at first,” adds Franziska.
Benedikt Urth was also impressed by the range of products on offer. The stand of ASB GlassFloor, in particular, has stuck in the mind of the industrial engineering & management student – “a very young company” that convinced him with its concept.
There was also a lot of positive feedback from exhibitors. For example, Fabian Bär is no stranger to the FH Kufstein Tirol, having completed the Sports, Culture & Event Management degree program there. He is now an HR manager at ASB GlassFloor. He is attracting a lot of attention with his company's stand at Meet & Match: ASB GlassFloor is vividly presenting its new indoor sports floor with a glass surface. He describes the response at the trade fair as “very positive” – the visitors are “extremely interested”.

Diana Baldinger, member of staff at the savings bank, in conversation with visitors. The feedback on Meet & Match 2025 was consistently positive.
Lisa Zimmermann, Employer Branding & Recruiting Senior Specialist at EGGER, is at Meet & Match for the fourth time. “My experiences have been very, very positive” – also with students. Every year, EGGER takes on about ten employees – whether as part of specialized internships or as career starters – who are or were students at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.
Timo Lüpke-Naberhaus, who works as an HR generalist at Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH, is also convinced by the concept: “We are looking for people for traineeships, as well as interns and potential apprentices. I think it's excellent that every target group is represented here!” He also emphasizes the quality of the discussions held.
Pre-opening program for students and alumni
In the run-up to Meet & Match 2025, students and graduates of the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences were able to take part in a free pre-opening program. This included application training with Timo Lüpke-Naberhaus, tips and tricks for job searches from Sabrina Puell, HR expert and HR business partner at the wood-based materials manufacturer EGGER, a lecture on breathing and meditation techniques for everyday study and work from Kufstein University of Applied Sciences Tirol alumnus Daniel Lener, and a CV check with Fabian Bär.
Meet & Match was once again a great success this year, exceeding the expectations of everyone involved. Jennifer Könneker, BA, Alumni & Corporate Relations Expert at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, which played a leading role in organizing the fair, is satisfied with the outcome: “With a new record of 863 visitors, the event was extremely well received. The fair offered numerous networking and career opportunities, which was greatly appreciated by the participants. It is very important for the exhibitors to be represented here every year, and there was great satisfaction with the good discussions with the visitors and with the organization of the event.”
